Bio: Robert received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering for the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2000. After school he spent 5 years working as an Environmental Engineer leading groundwater and soil investigations and remediation. In 2006 he joined UOP as a design engineer in the PSA (pressure swing adsorption) group. In 2008 he moved to Field Operating Services and since has worked in China, Kuwait, Korea, India, Taiwan, and Japan mainly on oversight and startup of aromatics units. In addition, he spoke about the importance of young engineers using AIChE as a leadership laboratory to develop soft skills, and Chevron's commitment to diversity in the workplace.
