An Animated Story of the Birth of a Prescription Drug

Ever wonder how a prescription drug comes into being? This great video, which was created for exhibit at Paris's main science museum "Cité des sciences et de l'industrie," explains the process. The video is in French but with English subtitles and it features some great animation, somewhat reminiscent of the film Persepolis. It explains the complex process of how pharmaceutical research can help identify the uniqueness of molecules and how a molecule eventually becomes medicine. Check out the video at right to meet a molecule named James, who's featured in the story.
