3 Ways to Win
What do you need to do to win an iPad? In a word: CONTRIBUTE.
Just add a comment. Submit a post. Send a photo. Add a video.
Here’s how it works:
- Timing: The contest runs from June 10 to July 16, 2010.
- Register: You will need to register for the contest below.
- Use your e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter ID to comment.
- Go to http://chenected.aiche.org/contribute to make contributions.

| 1 | Make the greatest number of contributions. Almost everything you do counts. Comments. Posts. Photo and Video Submissions. There are some guidelines. We won’t count comments like ‘K’ and ‘ROTFLMAO’ because chemical engineers can do better than that. So please don’t enter hundreds of one word comments. And we’d like your comments to add to the dialog, so just saying ‘great post’ over and over counts less. Take the time to add a 250 or more word post and we’ll count it twice. One last thing, if you’re submitting photos or videos please don’t infringe someone else’s copyright. | To ascertain the greatest number of submissions we’ll review all additions to ChEnected between June 10 and July 16. The single contributor adding the most to the site will be the winner. |
| 2 | Make the best suggestion for adding something new to ChEnected. ChEnected is an ever-changing environment that improves when you tell us what’s missing. Post your ideas under the title "ChEnected Would Be Even Better If…." You can post on ChEnected. Post on the ChEnected Facebook Page. Or tweet it to us @ChEnected on Twitter. Include #WiniPad with your posts or tweets. | The best idea will be selected from among all submissions by a panel composed of ChEnected’s advisory board. |
| 3 | Show us how chemical engineers ChEnect with the world. Then vote for your favorite submission. Download the ChEnected logo jpeg from this page and print it out. Then just take a photo or shoot some video of you or you and your chemical engineering friends out in the world. You could show chemical engineering in everyday life. Or how chemical engineers are helping make the world a better place. Or an interesting example of chemical engineering in your town. You must show the ChEnected logo in the picture. Post your photo or video on the ChEnected Facebook Page. Or tweet it to us @ChEnected on Twitter. Your post message must say: "See how I experience @ChEnected in the real world". Include #WiniPad with your posts or tweets. And don’t send anything that would get you in trouble with your mom or your boss! | Voting for the favorite photos and videos of chemical engineering in the world will commence July 19 and run through July 31. The submission getting the most votes will win. Ballot box stuffing prohibited. |
