The article is primarily focused on cloud tools for the corporate environment, however, many of the tools can also be used to virtualize and simplifying your life. For instance, link Dropbox to your smartphone (if you have one) to directly load pictures to your account rather than saving them on your on SD card.
Another cloud-based service, not mentioned in the article, is OneNote - a Microsoft SkyDrive Service - which is great for keeping track of work and non-work related tasks from your phone, tablet, or computer.
