During the busy and very successful 7th Global Congress On Process Safety taking place in Chicago concurrently with AIChE's Spring 2011 meeting, I was able to find a few minutes to sit down with this year's Global Congress Conference Chair, Cheryl Grounds. Have you ever wondered what it's like to put together a conference featuring more than 100 speakers? Cheryl talks about the theme for this year's Global Congress "Inherently Safer Design," how it was developed, and how it is defined with respect to the conference. Also learn a bit about what's in store for the future. Below are a few of the questions I asked Cheryl. You can watch the short video in the panel to the right to hear her answers.
