AIChE's Kristine Chin shares her path in the field of chemical engineering, including her experience starting out as a chemical engineer in an all-male lab.

Today, Chin is a long-time staff member of AIChE where she serves as director of technical programming. Her primary role is to develop the content of conferences and workshops. From 2001 to 2007 she served as the publisher and editor-in-chief of AIChE's flagship publication, Chemical Engineering Progress. Before joining the AIChE team Kristine was an editor at Chemical Engineering magazine, where she also launched a start-up publication, ePlant. She holds master's and bachelor's degrees in chemical engineering from the Cooper Union School for the Advancement of Science and Art.
