2013 ChemE Jeopardy at the Annual Student Conference [On Location]


The 2013 edition of National ChemE Jeopardy took place from 4:30 to 6:00 at the 2013 AIChE Student Conference. The nine participating teams were split into three rooms to answer chemical engineering questions.

Teams battled it out in a preliminary round in three different rooms.

In the process safety category for 400:

Answer: These are the 5 sides of the dust explosion pentagon

Question: What are fuel (dust), oxidizer (air), ignition source, suspension, and confinement?

The winning team from each group met to compete for the title in the final round.
