Tiffany King has a great piece of advice for anyone looking to find success: have an end goal in mind. King is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Joint Molecular Biosciences Program at Rutgers University's Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where her thesis research focuses on embryonic heart development. She is a 2009 graduate of Spelman College and holds a B.S. in biology. She has also conducted biomedical research at the University of Chicago, Princeton University, and the microarray development at the Naval Research Laboratory.
