Bohemian Rhapsody—On Slide Whistles [Funny Bone]

We've all heard Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody but how many of you have heard it played on a slide whistle? And what exactly is a slide whistle? According to Wikipedia:

A slide whistle (variously known as a swanee or swannee whistle, piston flute or jazz flute) is a wind instrument consisting of a fipple like a recorder's and a tube with a piston in it. It thus has an air reed like some woodwinds, but varies the pitch with a slide. The construction is rather like abicycle pump. Because the air column is cylindrical and open at one end and closed at the other, it overblows the third harmonic.

Youtube's MysteryGuitarMan has finally satisfied his many fans' requests for a version of Bohemian Rhapsody on Slide Whistles. You can watch our weekend video to the right or learn more about the making of the video.
