The U.S. National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has announced its new members for 2026. Among the new class of 130 U.S.-based and 28 international NAE members are numerous chemical engineers. The following AIChE members have been elected to NAE’s distinguished ranks.

Election to the NAE is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer and honors those who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice, or education, or to the pioneering of new and developing fields of technology.
