This week we were introduced to this Lady Gaga parody, thanks to the people at NPR's Science Friday and Talking Science. According to Talking Science, the star of the video is Josephine Coburn, a freshman from from UC Berkeley. As Lady Gallium, she transforms Lady Gaga's song "Telephone" into a great lesson on genetics, titled "Chromosome." See the results in the video panel at right!

It's amazing how this song and video can lend itself to just about anything! Good one, but I wish the singing were better!

Yes, she did a great job of making science fun. I laughed out loud when she got to the G-T-A-C-C-G-T-A-T-T..etc. chorus!
