Peter Spitz is long-time member of AIChE, a graduate from MIT, and had a career in the chemical and energy industries before starting his blog. He is also the author of the book Petrochemicals: The Rise of an Industry. In this TEDx Talk, Spitz talks about the renaissance in U.S. manufacturing and the role chemical engineers play it in.
