This year marks ten years of the AIChE Foundation’s transformative Doing a World of Good campaign. This campaign supports programs that are changing the face of chemical engineering — from scholarships for underrepresented students and K-12 STEM outreach to process safety training for undergraduates and education for early-career ChE professors. The 2025 Gala chairs include Jennifer Sinclair Curtis, Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Davis; Joseph D. Smith, the AIChE President and Laufer Endowed Energy Chair at the Missouri University of Science and Technology; and John Televantos, Senior Partner at Arsenal Capital Partners. At the Gala, special honors will be bestowed upon those who have received awards for the safe and responsible application of chemical engineering over the past decade of AIChE galas.
