Maithreyi Thukaram is currently an Engineering Associate working at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and works primarily with the Institute for Sustainability and the Society for Biological Engineering. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and again in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Bioenvironmental Engineering. During her undergraduate career, she interned as an environmental engineer with the Water Resources Program, a cooperative extension within Rutgers University, designing different stormwater remediation projects for various counties in New Jersey.
